A ROAD near Wedmore will take 10 days to repair after badgers damaged it. Cheddar Road in Cocklake will be traffic-controlled while Somerset County Council highways department fixes the problem.
A ROAD near Wedmore will take 10 days to repair after badgers damaged it.
Cheddar Road in Cocklake will be traffic-controlled while Somerset County Council highways department fixes the problem.
A council spokesman said: "Badgers are a protected animal. So while the work is being carried out we will obviously make sure they are safe and hopefully wont have to disrupt their lives too much."
Work to the road started yesterday (Wed) and is due to be finished on December 21.
