Hundreds of people gathered for a May Day fair on Monday.
Claverham's showpiece event of the year proved hugely popular, despite chilly temperatures.
Maypole dancing, a procession and a dog show made for a hugely entertaining afternoon at the village hall.
Court de Wyck Primary School ran a fundraising raffle stall, while May queen Jessica was also crowned.
However, not everything went according to plan.
On Saturday, the organisers of the hot dog stand said they went to Pullin's bakery in Yatton to pick up the rolls, only to be told they had already been collected.
Ms Smith said people had made off with 450 rolls, without paying, forcing organisers to go to supermarkets to pay for more.
She said it was a 'petty crime', but effectively saw thieves steal from a charity, and warned people to not fall victim to similar schemes.
