THESE youngsters travelled back in time to an era when Britain was ruled by the Romans.

The Roman-themed afternoon at Weston Museum, where the children had a go at making a mosaic, was one of several events held in Weston as part of the Excitement of Discovery – the Many Aspects of Archaeology event on Saturday.

A series of talks by leading local archaeologists took place at The Blakehay Theatre, while guided walks were made around Worlebury hillfort and Weston.
