RENOWNED stand-up comedian Ross Noble took a trip to Weston today (Fri) to film a new TV show.
The Geordie funny man visited the town as part of a new series to be aired on Freeview channel Dave.
He told the Mercury he had been singing karaoke at The Live Lounge in West Street and said he wants to enter the Beach Race on his motorbike in future.
The comic then filmed in the High Street today for Ross Noble Freewheeling.
The show sees Ross travel across the country according to the whims of social network Twitter.
Ross said: “It’s a new TV show for Dave, I ask Twitter where to send me and we go wherever they tell us to.
“It’s completely unplanned.
“Weston is great, it’s really good. I’ve been before.
“Everyone has been coming up to us and getting involved.
“Some places you go, everyone’s like ‘oh what’s going on there’ but here people are really friendly.
“I was in a karaoke bar round the corner last night (The Live Lounge), I was up half the night doing karaoke.
“I want to do the Beach Race, the one for motorbikes. I love motorbikes and I’m travelling round on my motorbike for the show.”
Ross had tweeted earlier in the day: “I find myself in Weston super mare your ideas for people/things to visit/stuff to do please.”
