TWO RSPCA pooches helped pick out the lucky winner of a charity draw for a day out to see the Red Arrows.

The draw was held at Brent Knoll’s RSPCA centre and winner Irene Carter, from Nailsea, was picked out by dogs Billy and Maddie with the help of animal care staff Maria Sturgeon and Helen Matyear.

Mrs Carter bought the ticket on behalf of her father in law and hopes her husband will be home from Afghanistan so he can join him.

The draw raised more than £1,000 for the North Somerset branch of the charity and the prize was organised by Nightingale Properties and Removals.
