The one-mile fun run, as well as the four-mile competition event, was held along Burnham’s seafront and organised by the Burnham Swim and Sports Academy.

Organiser Martin Rogers said of the event, which had been rescheduled from December 19 because of the recent snow, said: “We had around 50 runners taking part in the fun run, and less in the competition race.

“It went really well, we had lots of people turning up in fancy dress to take part, everyone had a lot of fun.”
