RUSSELL Brand, renowned comedian-cum-political activist, is the latest big name to be spotted at Dismaland in Weston-super-Mare after he visited this afternoon (Friday).
The 40-year-old created a buzz on social media when, flanked by security, he arrived at the Banksy art exhibition at the Tropicana.
A number of people took to Twitter to say they had bumped into the Essex comedian, with one saying they had been ‘batted out the way’ by his security.
Last week, American comedian and actor Jack Black and About A Boy star Nicholas Holt attended an exclusive event to formally open the show, while Katy Perry – who was married to Brand from 2010 until 2012 – tweeted her disappointment at being unable to visit.
Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt is also rumoured to be visiting the exhibition.
The latest wave of tickets for Dismaland sold out yesterday within hours of going on sale, with the next set, for September 8-15 inclusive, due to be available from September 2.
