ORGANISERS of youth activities in Sedgemoor are being urged to attend a safety workshop.
Police in the Somerset West district, which covers Axbridge, Cheddar, Wedmore, Burnham and Highbridge, are urging community groups to attend a Child-Safe course, which offers guidelines for staff and volunteers.
When a group registers with Child-Safe will be given a resource pack, children protection training to deter potential abusers from joining the club.
The next course, which is free to attend, will be held in Burnham Community Centre in Berrow Road on Tuesday from 7-8.30pm. To book a place or for more details call 01823 358098.
