AN UNFORGETTABLE day trip sailing the north African coast is going under the hammer at a spectacular seafront party.Hundreds of people are expected to bid in a star-studded auction at Weston Super Pier Party, one of the biggest charity bashes to hit the town.The trip includes two early morning flights to Malaga to join a luxury yacht with skipper and crew. The yacht will call at Gibraltar for a spot of duty free shopping before returning to the celebrity resort of Port Banus.Other lots include a flight in a biplane, tea for two with Lord Archer in his London penthouse apartment and a tour of the House of Commons and tea for four with MP John Penrose.All the proceeds from the event will go to the Weston Super Kids Appeal, which is raising cash to build, among other things, a children's ward at Weston General Hospital.Grand Pier co-owner Rod Brenner has offered the venue for the party and all rides will be free.Party-goers will be able to test their nerves on the Castle of Doom and the Freefall, try their luck at 10-pin bowling, get in a spin on the big wheel and vent some road rage on the dodgems.Soul band The Orphans will headline the evening's entertainment along with Devious Phat, The Ovation Brothers and Ladycake.The tickets for the event on June 21 are £20 and include fish and chips or a pig roast, ice cream and entry on to the rides.
