THOUSANDS visit the Weston exhibition during its 11 week run
ALMOST 30,000 people have visited the sand sculptures on Weston seafront since they were opened 11 weeks ago.
People from across the world visited the exhibition on the Beach Lawns, which was also open to school parties.
The exhibition closed down on Friday and work to remove the sculptures began at the weekend.
There have already been calls for them to return next year.
