ANGEL voiced pupils at a Portishead school are relying on the people in the town to vote for them in a special singing competition.Youngsters at St Peter's Primary School have entered a special contest as part of the BBC talent search for a new Joseph to star in a West End musical Any Dream Will Do.As part of the competition schools across the country have been asked to enter their choirs of talented singers towin a chance to appear on the show later in the year.Head of music Lyn Webber said: "As the maximum numbers of singers for the choir was 20 and our school choir is larger, we had to audition."The children have now learnt a medley of songs from the Joseph musical which have been recorded and put on the website."People are being invited to log onto the website and vote for their favourite choir. The choirs with the most votes will then go forward to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself who will choose the best and invite them to London to take part in the show.Mrs Webber added: "The children have worked very hard and we want the people of Portishead to go on line and vote for them."Anyone wanting to vote can do so by logging onto www.bbc.co.uk/joseph
