YOUNGSTERS at a Nailsea school had a very special letter as part of celebrations for their feast day - and it came from The Queen.Year two teacher at St Francis Primary School Angela Parry had written to Her Royal Highness and a host of celebrities asking them to send their best wishes to the school for its Feast Day earlier this month. To her surprise, the school received letters from The Queen, Tony Blair, Bristol Rovers Football Club, the Blue Peter team, injured England footballer Michael Owen and England rugby fly half Johnny Wilkinson.St Francis Primary headteacher Paul Stathers said: "At first we thought Mrs Parry was joking as she had the letters up on the projector."But then she showed the actual letters to us and we were amazed."The letter from Tony Blair wished us well for our celebrations and also congratulated us on our recent good OFSTED report."The Queen also wished us well and sent us some information about Buckingham Palace."The children were really excited to see the letters and they are now on display in the school."The school's Feast Day was marked with a special mass in the morning and parties during the afternoon.
