School poet wins competition

A YOUNG poet from Pill is celebrating after getting her work published.

A YOUNG poet from Pill is celebrating after getting her work published.

Hannah Beard, from St Katherine's School, won the, Talkin' 'Bout My Generation, poetry competition with her poem called Life.

The competition is run by national company Young Writers, which encourages young people to read and write poetry.

The year nine pupil's work will be published in the company's next magazine.
