A specialist school will auction off a number of signed sports memorabilia online to raise money for its new sports hall.

Staff and students at Uphill’s Westhaven School have been working hard to secure signed footballs, rugby balls and shirts to auction on eBay and at its May ball later this month.

The items include a football signed by Premier League players from Manchester United, a signed Welsh rugby shirt and a pair of jodhpurs signed by Grand National jockeys.

Laura Fulton, a member of the Friends of Westhaven School Parent Teacher Association, said: “We are really grateful to all of the wonderful donations coming in and hopefully this will help us raise the money to make the sports hall dream, a reality.”

All items are already online at www.ebay.co.uk including the Welsh rugby shirt.
