School wins out in supermarket scheme

SHOPPERS at a major Weston supermarket have chosen Westhaven School as their project of choice.

Asda’s Chosen By You, Given By Us scheme saw shoppers at the Winterstoke Road store vote for one of three schools using tokens given at the checkout.

Westhaven School in Uphill won out and has been handed a cheque for £200 to build a sensory reading garden for students.

Bournville Primary School and Oldmixon Primary School also received £50 each as runners-up.
