VOLUNTEERS for Weston Hospicecare enjoyed a day in the sun during their summer fete and cream tea afternoon - which saw them raise thousands for the charity.
Families, friends, helpers and staff from the Uphill-based hospice held the annual event at the centre, which saw crowds come out to support and raise a total of £2,350.
The fete included a range of stalls selling plants, crafts, bags and scarves, and scones, jam and clotted cream were snapped up by the visitors.
