SCOUTS have taken to Uphill hillside in search of deadly plant.
The 1st Uphill Scouts joined forces with North Somerset hill warden Chris Olive last week to assist in the management of Uphill hill.
They were clearing a plant called Ragwort, which contains toxins that can cause liver damage and death to animals.
The scouts removed huge quantities of the plant from the churchyard areas and completed a tour of the hill with bin liners and gloves to avoid the toxins touching their skin.
