Secret World Wildlife Rescue, based in East Huntspill, hosted a circus-themed fundraising ball at the Webbington Hotel which helped it to raise money to care for its animals.
BBC broadcaster Mike Dilger compered the event which pulled together nearly 250 wildlife lovers.
Guests were treated to a disco, David Ford tribute act, a magician, a casino and a cabaret act.
Charity founder Pauline Kidner said: “The ball has helped us raise precious funds to enable us to help sick and injured animals across the South West.
