A former church in Highbridge will be demolished after Sedgemoor District Council approved the owners plans this week.

The former Gospel Hall, in Newtown Road, is now derelict.

Burnham and Highbridge Town Council voted to reject the order, citing concerns about the future of the site but the plan has been given the go-ahead.
