A CHARTY for youngsters benefited from a cash boost this week.
Representatives from Children's Hospice South West were presented with cheque for £600 by Sedgemoor District Council chairman Dennis Davey.
The money was given to Anne Packer, the corporate partnerships fund-raiser for the hospice.
The cash came from the proceeds of a raffle at a civic reception and £100 came from the Showman's Guild who organise the Bridgwater Fair.
