AN INTERNATIONAL engineering firm based in Weston has raised money for research into cancer by selling its old computers.

QuEST Global Engineering, based in Winterstoke Road, allowed staff to buy its used PCs to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. A spokesman for the company said: “Cancer Research UK receives no Government funding and relies on donations. It is presently trialling new drugs at several hospitals. Cancer affects one in three people in the UK and all of us know someone who has been affected.”
