1.20pm: 05.09.07- SHELTERS in Burnham have been fenced off after a spate of serious vandalism . Chain-link fences were put up around the entire perimeter of the shelters in Marine Cove Gardens to prevent members of the public entering.
SHELTERS in Burnham have been fenced off after a spate of 'serious vandalism'.
Chain-link fences were put up around the entire perimeter of the shelters in Marine Cove Gardens to prevent members of the public entering.
The damage will be assessed and a report will be put to members of the Executive at Sedgemoor District Council.
The council is currently applying for money from Heritage Lottery Fund to help fund restoration projects in the gardens.
