ELDERLY residents living on the outskirts of Weston will soon be able to hop on a bus to town twice a week.People residing at Hutton Park, in Hutton Moor Lane, Weston, have been waiting to see if any cash will come their way to secure a bus service to take them shopping.Weston Town Council, when it set its budget for the year, agreed to put £3,650 towards the service from the park home site near Weston Airfield.Councillor Derek Kraft, who has been busy campaigning for the buses, said: "Hopefully the service will run twice a week, probably on a Tuesday and Thursday. It would take people from the site into town in the morning and return in the afternoon."This service will mean a lot to people at Hutton Park as many residents are elderly and they have to cross a busy road to get to the nearest bus stop at the moment.
