Many people may be used to taking a stroll down Weston-super-Mare's beach or trying their hand at yoga in search of their 'inner peace' but a new event will combine the two.
James White, an instructor of strala yoga, will be hosting a silent disco yoga event in Weston on September 9 after teaming up with Weston Sand Sculpture Festival.
People will be able to try out new yoga poses in the shadows of the impressive sculptures at the event, which will take place on Weston beach.
Samira Polman, from the sand sculpture festival, said: “This is yoga that moves far beyond poses, helping you blow past your goals and get into your dreams.
“Strala yoga is a way of being, moving and healing. It helps people connect with how they feel.”
People will be able to buy refreshments after the session, which will be outside of the festival in Marine Parade.
It will cost £13.50 per person, which is payable in cash on the day, and will run from 6.30-8.30pm.
