Singers raise hundreds for charity

VOLUNTEERS braved the winter weather and belted out festive carols to raise money for charity.

VOLUNTEERS braved the winter weather and belted out festive carols to raise money for charity.

Staff from the Asda store in Highbridge and RNLI crewmembers managed to raise more than £300 for the lifeboat group.

Burnham lifeboat chairman Graham Wills, who was on hand to receive the cheque said: "It is important that RNLI stations integrate into their local community. The success of activities such as this, remind the general public that we do.
