Sir Bob Geldof’s message ahead of Westside Proms at Tropicana

PUBLISHED: 15:09 17 June 2016 | UPDATED: 15:16 17 June 2016

The Tropicana will host its first major event since Dismaland over this weekend – and Sir Bob Geldof has left a message ahead of the Weston-super-Mare festival.

Crowds are expected to flock to the seafront venue to watch 10cc and Racey tomorrow (Saturday) night.

The Wonder Stuff, Ferocious Dog and Mark Chadwick will perform this evening, while a charity concert will take place on Sunday.

Weston-super-Mare is expected to be busy, as it is being held over the same weekend as the Weston Air Festival and Armed Forces Weekend.

Sir Bob recorded a message ahead of the event, and even suggests The Boomtown Rats could make an appearance next year.
