AVON Ski Centre opened its doors to the public for a special taster day on September 15.
More than 300 visitors took up the opportunity to tackle the centre’s dry ski slopes for free as the family fun day proved a great success.
For non-skiers there was still plenty to do with toboggan rides proving popular and a bouncy castle and barbecue open all day.
Claire Body, who helped organise the event, said it was a great success and hoped another one could be arranged for the future.
Claire, who works for the Portishead-based Independent Travel Experts, said: “We were delighted by the response and everyone involved has agreed that this was a fantastic event.
“Our visitors on the day had a great time and we hope to be involved in the next one.”
As well as offering plenty of activities to visitors a raffle was also held in aid the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
