A MUM from Weston threw herself out of a plane to raise funds to support people who have served in the armed forces.

Jenny Nottage is a caseworker for SSAFA Forces Help and completed the daredevil stunt to raise money for her local division.

The 37-year-old mum of seven, from Stafford Road, did a tandem jump out of a plane at Netheravon airfield in Wiltshire, and has now raised £665 for the organisation.

She said: “It was the first time I’ve thrown my self out of an aeroplane. It was quite scary at first but once I was out of the plane it was amazing – I’d definitely do it again.”
