Super slimmer enjoys dream holiday in New York

A Slimming World superstar’s dream came true after losing five stone.

Suzy Summerhayes, aged 31, said her self-esteem was at ‘rock bottom’ when she first started her journey but decided it was time for a change and attended her first group in November 2015.

She made a deal with her husband, Tim, to book a their dream trip to New York if she reached her target weight.

She said: “I was amazed at how much my confidence grew with every success on the scales. Eleven months after making our pact, I reached my target weight.

“We booked our dream getaway and, in March 2017, I stepped onto the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.

“I am happy, confident, full of energy and have a new job as a Slimming World consultant.”

Suzy now hosts her own group on Wednesdays at 5.30pm and 7.30pm and Thursdays at 9.30am and 11.30am, both at Corpus Christi Church in Ellenborough Park South.

She has also found out she is a semifinalist in the Consultant Slimmer Of The Year awards.

She is one of 40 semifinalists who was chosen from more than 4,500 consultants nationwide.

She said: “I am really excited by the news and very proud.”
