Somerset beaches to feature in national magazines

PUBLISHED: 17:30 30 May 2012

TWO Somerset beaches are in demand by nationla magazines and will be used as back drops for two photo shoots.

Berrow beach is to be featured in Photo Plus magazine for its cover-mount DVD, which will be demonstrating a filming technique master class on how to shoot a summer portrait on Berrow beach.

BBC Countryfile magazine will feature Burnham beach, which will talk about beach requisites.

Tim Mander, Sedgemoor District Council’s property manager, who set up the agreement, said: “This is yet more recognition of the natural beauty and accessibility of the beaches together with the council’s willingness to assist and co-operate with such requests.”
