A LUCKY lady from the Cheddar area could win the chance to go on a romantic date with one of the county's most eligible bachelors.
Geoff Ware, aged 34, chairman of Somerset Young Farmers Club will be auctioning himself off at a special fund-raising event on November 10.
Gentlemanly Geoff, who owns a farm in Skilgate, Exmoor, is promising the highest bidder a romantic evening over some fine food and wine.
A number of other prizes will also be going under the hammer on the night and young farmers from all over Somerset are being invited to the event to up the stakes to raise cash for the group's annual rally in May.
The auction is being held at The Captain's Suite in Ralegh's Cross at 7.30pm and all 25 clubs in the county are invited.
