TOURISM in Somerset is set to get a major boost when an event is held later this month.
Representatives from more than 40 tourist attractions, including Cheddar Caves and Gorge, will be heading to Brean Leisure Park on Feburary 26 to publicise the county as the 'jewel of the south west'.
A new pink and purple guide will be handed out to anyone who visits the event between 10.30am and 2.30pm and all profits will go towards the promotion of Somerset. There will be free parking and a chance to meet people in the tourism trade.
The event has been organised by Sedgemoor Tourism Association.
