Hutton in Bloom volunteers are celebrating another golden year.

The village was judged to be gold standard again by RHS South West in Bloom judges, following on from the group’s gold and outstanding awards for last year’s floral displays.

Entries are judged against criteria including horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation.

Hutton was also announced in joint first place in the Sargent Trophy, given for outstanding effort and dedication from a main entry.
