They were installed at St Nicholas Church Preschool in Uphill to allow better access to the back room which is used as a quiet area.

Jonathan Kirby, a committee member for the preschool, asked Symphony Windows in Norwich to sponsor the work, which was carried out by Sterling Windows, Doors and Conservatories in Weston’s Milton Road.

The preschool meets in St Nicholas Church hall, in Old Church Road, during term-time.

Staff are delighted with the work, and have set their sights on another project to improve the facilities.

Preschool leader Kimberley Shepherd said: “We are now trying to raise funds for the outside flooring to make it more even and a better surface for the children’s physical development.”
