A CLAW hammer and a crow bar were used by robbers to threaten staff at a convenience store in Weston yesterday.
Cash was stolen from Spar in Loxton Road after thieves entered through a rear store room.
The offenders made off with a till tray via a cycle path towards the railway line and St John's Football Club on the Bournville estate.
One of the culprits was wearing dark coloured tracksuit type bottoms, black trainers and a grey long-sleeved top with another light coloured hooded top underneath.
The second man was wearing a black short-sleeved top, blue denim jeans and white trainers.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have a discarded claw hammer, crowbar or till tray.
