HUNDREDS of pounds have been donated by stall-holders at a festival in Hutton towards the battle against cancer.

Hutton Parish Council chairman John Cole and clerk Steve Cope presented a cheque for £700 to Cancer Research UK’s local committee vice-chairman Pat Wilkins.

The money, which was donated by stall-holders at last year’s Taste Of Somerset event which was held in the village, will go towards funding clinical trials in cancer research at Weston General Hospital.
