YOU may be lucky enough to have seen a few of Weston’s glorious summer sunsets this week – but what about a Star Wars Stormtrooper?

Yes, this sci-fi soldier from George Lucas’ movie empire walked the streets of Worle to raise cash for Weston Hospicecare and luckily, it was all caught on camera by iwitness24 member James Griffiths.

Weston’s RNLI was hard at work this week and Carl Shellis and Eddie Hancock submitted a few shots of the lifesaving volunteers.

Nick Page Hayman was out and about in the town and photographed some skateboarders honing their skills on the seafront and a big band performing in Grove Park.

Other contributors to iwitness caught a few more relaxing scenes on camera, including a field of poppies, a sunset behind the Grand Pier, as well as the crumbling wreck of Birnbeck Pier and Marine Lake’s waves.

These photographers included David Winship, Sally Griffiths, Sarah Webb and Christine Flook.

Have you taken any superb scenery shots lately? Or caught a community event or breaking news incident on camera?

Log on to weston.iwitness24.co.uk and post you pics – they could end up online or in the paper.
