Thursday may get off to a blustery start in Weston-super-Mare with gusts of 50-60mph predicted by the Met Office, prompting a yellow weather warning.
Very strong winds are being predicted by forecasters, all associated with Storm Doris.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Travel services could be affected including some restrictions on bridges. Some damage to trees and buildings is also possible.”
There is still some uncertainty over which track Storm Doris will take, and therefore where the strongest winds will be.
The weather warning is in place from 5am tomorrow (Thursday) to 8pm.
