STRAWBERRY lovers were in Draycott this weekend for the 40th anniversary of the strawberry fayre.
The event began on Friday with DJ Miss Divine playing to the crowds.
Following that on Saturday, there were locally sourced meats and salads on offer with the famous Cheddar strawberries.
In the evening, festival-goers were able to enjoy the dictionary of soul fronted by one-time lead singer to the Drifters.
On Sunday, the strawberry festival was offically opened by Michael Eavis.
The day had stalls from local companies and charities, a bouncy castle for the children and a bar for the adults.
