A charity which supports homeless people in Weston has been given a helping hand with its Christmas dinner preparations by a group of teenager supporters.
The Weston Eagles group was launched by former Priorty Community School pupil Alex Crowther in 2015 and is supported by Big Worle in its efforts to support community projects.
The Eagles’ latest contribution to the town has been to collect and donate Christmas food to Somewhere To Go in readiness for its Christmas Day dinner for the town’s homeless people.
Eagles spokesman Will Stephens said “It’s really an honour and privilege to be able to support Somewhere To Go for the third year. They do really fantastic work all year around and we look forward to helping them again in the future.”
The Eagles are aiming high for 2018, with plans to launch partner groups in Burnham and Bridgwater.
