AN AWARD-WINNING garden designer worked with pupils from a Weston school to reinvigorate a garden in Grove Park.
Mark Walker, who lives in Blagdon, worked with students from Hans Price Academy and volunteers from Homebase in Worle.
They helped to plant, weed and prune the Macmillan Garden.
Homebase provided the compost, and Mark hopes the event will inspire students to take up horticulture.
He said: “I’m so pleased Homebase agreed to help supply me with plants for what is a very special garden.”
The planting took place before the South West In Bloom judging happened.
