MEMBERS of Sandford Gardening Club got a chance to show off their skills at its annual flower show at the village hall over the weekend.

There were more than 200 entries to the numerous competitions on the day, filling the hall with an array of stunning flowers and vegetables.

More than 60 people attended to view the exhibits and enjoy the homemade tea and cakes on offer.

Ginny Urch won a first for her flowers in a tea cup arrangement and the club’s secretary Marjorie Dunster won first prize for the Best Floral Art Exhibit.
