Westonians will have the chance to quiz the person in charge of police services in the town at a surgery next week.

Avon and Somerset’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Sue Mountstevens will host a drop-in session on Wednesday from noon to 1.30pm.

The event will take place at Weston Town Hall, in Walliscote Grove Road, and people will have the chance to speak to the PCC.

Ms Mountstevens will be on hand to field questions on policing policies in the town and across the force area.

Some of the town’s police officers will also be available to give an insight into their work and discuss people’s concerns.

A police spokesman encouraged Westonians to learn more about Weston’s police operation.

They said: “Come along and speak with Sue and officers from the local neighbourhood team to discuss policing in your area.”
