Summer activities for kids

RAFT building, tobogganing, football, and arts and crafts are just some of the things children can get up to while off school, as a not-for-profit group announces its summer programme.

With the school holidays looming, the Congresbury Youth Partnership has planned a huge number of events for children.

The initiative, subsidised by Congresbury Parish Council, will have a full-week of activities from July 28 to August 1 and then there will be days out every Tuesday and Thursday for the remainder of August.

Organiser Sarah Storey said places are limited for some of the activities and asked parents to book in advance to ensure children can attend.
