A SUMMER fair was held on a Weston estate on Saturday, with families turning out to enjoy stalls and games.

The fair at St Andrews Church in the For All Healthy Living Centre in Lonsdale Avenue saw more than £1,000 raised from stalls set up inside the centre selling everything from toys and pet supplies to flowers.

There was also a tombola, raffle and bottle stalls.

Administrator and church warden Lynn Marsh said: “We’re all very pleased with the day which went well despite the poor weather. I want to thank fundraisers Diane Sargeant and Lesley Taylor for working so hard.”
