STUDENTS at a Somerset school will be donning superhero outfits while taking part in a week of wacky antics in the name of charity.
Pie eating, jelly wrestling and gunging are all on the agenda for pupils at The Kings of Wessex School in Cheddar for their annual charities week next month.
This year they have decided to raise funds for Bridgwater-based bibic, which helps children with a range of conditions, Help for Heroes and Habitat for Humanity.
The event runs from December 6-10, and includes Charities Week Revealed – an event on December 9 which the whole community is invited to.
This adults-only event showcases some of the best entertainment of the week and tickets, priced £7.50, are available from the school reception.
