Superhero students raise £10k

SUPERHERO students at a Somerset secondary school are celebrating after raising more than £10,000 for charity.

Pupils at Kings of Wessex School took part in a whole host of wacky events during their charities week earlier this month, including pie eating, jelly wrestling and egg throwing.

The money raised will benefit bibic, Help for Heroes and Habitat for Humanity.
