MORE than a year of fund-raising by a Weston supermarket has resulted in a huge boost for a reformed town charity.
Guide Dogs has been restarted in the town to help support blind and partially-sighted people in the area.
And this week, the group has presented its first guide dog puppy, thanks to 18 months of dedicated fund-raising by staff at Morrisons supermarket.
The workers raised £5,000, which is the amount required to sponsor a puppy – and allows the sponsor to choose the new puppy’s name.
