Support worker who raised £89,000 wins awards

A support worker from Weston-super-Mare has received an award for his contribution to social care.

Peter Warren has been a support worker for people with learning difficulties and autism for nearly 20 years.

He has also raised £89,000 for Cancer Research, after his father Stan Warren died from cancer.

Peter, who works for Community Therapeutic Services, received the prize at the Care and Support Awards.

He hopes to reach £100,000 before he retires in December.
