Jack has been fundraising for a number of months and has organised an evening of music, dancing and comedy at Weston’s Grand Pier on July 22.

He said: “The idea of a variety showcase was my idea.

Lots of my friends wanted to help yet understandably don’t have much money, yet I know they are incredibly talented, so what better way to help me than to perform alongside me at a showcase?”

Tickets, priced £15, can be purchased from Nightingales Estate Agents in Waterloo Street, or online at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-variety-showcase-registration-35042521124
